Privacy & Usage Policy

Prompthen runs on a simple promise: the method is free, and your data is yours. This page tells you plainly what we collect when you join the waitlist or write to us, why we hold it, who else touches it, and the rights you keep over it. No dark patterns, no hidden lists.

Who is responsible for your data

Prompthen is the data controller for the information described here. Prompthen is the free method created by Paulo Teixeira that teaches non-programmers to build AI agents and, ultimately, Interface-for-AI.

For any privacy question — or to exercise any right below — write to [email protected]. A real person reads it.

What we collect

We hold only what you give us, plus the basic technical data any website generates.

  • Waitlist sign-up. When you join the closed-beta waitlist, we collect your email address, and your name if you choose to give it. That's it. No payment details — there is nothing to pay for.
  • Messages you send us. If you contact us, we receive your email and whatever you write.
  • Basic technical data. Like almost every website, our hosting and content-delivery provider automatically logs standard request data — IP address, browser type, pages requested, and timestamps — to serve the site, keep it secure, and defend against abuse.

We never ask for sensitive personal data. Please don't send any through the form.

Why we use it, and our legal basis

We process your data for clear, limited purposes. Under the GDPR, each rests on a specific legal basis.

  • To manage the waitlist and notify you when the closed beta opens. Legal basis: your consent, given when you sign up.
  • To send you information about Prompthen lessons, AI, and the work of its creator Paulo Teixeira. Legal basis: your consent.
  • To reply to your messages. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in answering people who contact us.
  • To keep the site working, secure, and free of abuse. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in running a safe website.

We do not sell your data. We do not share it with advertisers. We do not profile you.

Cookies

Prompthen is built as light, static pages. We don't run advertising trackers or third-party marketing cookies. Any cookie present is strictly functional. If we ever add analytics or non-essential cookies, we'll ask for your consent first and update this page.

Third parties who process data for us

We keep the stack small and name every processor.

  • Web3Forms — processes our form submissions, including waitlist sign-ups. When you submit, Web3Forms receives the contents and relays them to us by email. They act as a data processor on our behalf.
  • Our hosting and CDN provider — serves the site and processes the standard technical logs described above to deliver and secure the pages.

We choose providers with appropriate safeguards and share only what each genuinely needs. Where data is transferred across borders, we rely on the safeguards those providers maintain for international transfers.

Your rights over your data

You hold full control over the personal data we have about you. Under the GDPR and similar laws, you can ask us to:

  • Access — get a copy of the data we hold about you.
  • Rectify — correct anything inaccurate or incomplete.
  • Erase — delete your data, where we have no overriding reason to keep it.
  • Restrict — pause our use of your data while a question is resolved.
  • Port — receive your data in a portable format, or have it sent elsewhere.
  • Object — object to processing we base on legitimate interest.
  • Withdraw consent — where we relied on your consent (including the waitlist), withdraw it at any time. Every email we send includes an unsubscribe link, and that withdrawal doesn't affect anything done before.

To exercise any of these, email [email protected]. We respond within the time the law allows, normally at no cost. We may confirm your identity first.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority — the data protection regulator in your country. We'd rather you raise it with us first so we can fix it, but the choice is yours.

How we protect and retain your data

We keep your data only while there's a reason to. Waitlist data is held until the beta opens and you've had your invitation, or until you unsubscribe — whichever comes first. Message data is kept while we're in contact and for a reasonable window after. Then it's removed.

Access inside Prompthen is limited to those who need it. Our providers maintain their own security over the data they process for us.

Closed beta — what you're signing up for

Joining the waitlist is free and carries no obligation. Before you sign up, please read and understand the following — the consent box on the form confirms you have:

  • The lessons are in closed beta. Prompthen is not yet open to everyone. The method is actively being built, tested, and refined, and access is currently limited.
  • Signing up does not guarantee an immediate spot. Joining the waitlist puts you in line; it does not open the lessons for you right away.
  • The queue is first-come, first-served. Places open in the order people join. The earlier you sign up, the earlier your turn.
  • We notify you by email when it opens. When a spot becomes available for you, we'll reach you at the email address you provide. Keep an eye on your inbox.
  • Emails will be about Prompthen lessons, AI, and creator Paulo Teixeira. That's the only thing we'll write to you about — the method, the field of AI, and the work of Paulo Teixeira. No unrelated marketing. You can unsubscribe at any time.
